The Registrar of Companies announced on 16.08.2016 that as per Law N.89(I) of 2015 which amends the Companies Law Cap.113, companies that fail to pay the annual  levy will not be struck off from the company registry but will be dissolved according to Article 327 of Cap.113.  Consequently the annual levy due for the years 2012-2015 is €490 per year.

According to Article 391 of the Law, failure to pay such annual levy within a year from the date on which it is due will empower the Registrar of Companies to dissolve the company.
